The Role

As a Security Guard, you will play a key role in protecting people, property, and assets. Duties may vary depending on the site but typically include:

  • Conducting regular patrols (internal and external)

  • Monitoring CCTV systems and reporting incidents

  • Controlling access and managing entry points

  • Responding to alarms and security breaches

  • Writing clear and accurate incident reports

  • Providing a professional and visible security presence

This role requires attention to detail, strong observation skills, and a proactive approach to safety.

Working Hours

  • Full-time: Approx. 40 hours per week

  • Part-time: Approx. 20 hours per week

  • Availability: Candidates must be flexible and available to work 7 days a week, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Hold a valid SIA Security Guard Licence (or equivalent SIA licence depending on role)

  • Have the legal right to work in the UK (documentation required if applicable)

  • Be reliable, punctual, and professional

  • Have good communication and report-writing skills

  • Be able to work independently and as part of a team

Previous experience in security is desirable but not essential.
