Platform 33 is a beachfront bar and restaurant located on South Shields promenade, beside the well-known sand dunes, offering coastal dining, drinks, and hospitality with strong visitor footfall throughout the day and evening. Formerly the historic Marsden Rattler, the venue combines local heritage with modern hospitality, serving food and beverages including daily carvery, buffet breakfasts, and a wide selection of drinks in a busy, family- and dog-friendly environment. Now operated by The Promenade, Seaburn, Platform 33 is a popular seaside destination attracting families, tourists, and local visitors year-round, requiring a safe, welcoming, and well-managed environment supported by professional security provision.
Challenge:
